Others
Sometimes, enough just isn't known about a character to warrant their own page. They're not a key player, they briefly dance in and out of our lives, or I'm just too lazy to give them their own page. This page is dedicated to them.
David - The Spy's Gibbet
Growing up in the Paths taught David three things: Take or be taken, only the strong persevere, and if you want something - you have to get it yourself. Caskas was a hard place to grow up, the Paths even harder. Yet David suceeded, escaping the base existence of the poor in the Paths and joining the City Guard. He fostered Kuma to the Guard, seeing himself in the young man, but ultimately his association with Kuma led to his death.
Lady Camilsaya - The Spy's Gibbet
Leader of the Silent Scarves, an orgnization operating out of the city of Caskas, Camilsaya worked closely with the City Guard in an effort to bring Child Slavery to an end. Her dangerous work with the Silent Scarves led her to meet a man named Enger. After the Caskas Incident, she and Enger slipped out of the city and weren't heard of for years.
Daestwyn - The Spy's Gibbet
One of the earliest Temple Boys, Daestwyn had a hard life. Abandoned by his family and assaulted by a Temple Guard, the boy was taken in by the Priest Kokonof and trained as an acolyte of Aeline. At the time of the Caskas Incident, Daestwyn was second in line only to the Head Priest of the Temple in Caskas.
Gwenlen - The Spy's Gibbet
A condemned man, Gwenlen thought his luck had run out as he was walked towards the gibbet. Yet out of the crowd came salvation, by the way of a Priest called Kokonof. Using his wealth and position, Kokonof bought Gwenlen's salvation. Loyal to Kokonof, Gwenlen only stepped out of line once; the punishment was severe enough to ensure it didn't happen again.
Captain Morrell - The Spy's Gibbet
The Captain of the City Guard, Harbour District, Morrell is a garrulous, reserved man who's seen far too much cruelty and death. After the deaths of his youngest recruit and the boy's mentor, Morrell shelters their grieving friend, Michael. Later, he assists Michael in bringing justice to the killers.
